Sprague-Rosser Contracting Co. Ltd. is committed to the protection from incidental loss of all its resources, including employee and physical assets.
In fulfilling this commitment to protect both people and property, management will provide and maintain a safe and healthful work environment in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with all legislative requirements, and will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in injuries/illness or property damage.
All staff/employees will be equally responsible for minimizing/eliminating injuries/illness within our facilities and work sites. Safe work practices and procedures will be clearly defined in this handbook, and associated policy and procedure handbooks for all employees to follow.
Incidental loss can be controlled through proactive management in combination with active employee involvement. Safety is the direct responsibility of all managers, supervisors, and workers.
All management functions shall comply with provincial/client safety requirements as they relate to the planning, operation, construction and maintenance of facilities and equipment. All employees and contractors will perform their jobs properly in accordance with established safe work practices and procedures. It must be emphasized and fully understood that working in compliance to all safety standards referenced by the Sprague-Rosser Contracting Co. Ltd. Health Safety & Loss Control Program is a condition of employment.
An incident/injury/illness free workplace is our goal. Utilizing professional Health Safety & Loss Control management process, and our commitment to Due Diligence, this goal is achievable.
